Jasper, your replies to my objections by quoting RL's tesimony were just excellent. I had NOT been aare that RL took the dog out twice that day and that the first time she took it to the back yard of the Salinger property. that, of course, explains the apparent discrepancy that bothered me.
Jasper also reproduced a section of RL's testimony where she reported hearing OJ's voice about 11:00, but could not recognize what he was saying.
THAT time, **obviously**, was OJ interacting with Park and Kaelin. There is absolutely no mystery there.
Also, RL's hearing OJ's voice at 9:00 and 9:30 are explained by his going and coming back from McDonald's -- so thee is no mystery thee, either.
So, of the four times RL reported hearing voices of one sort or another, three are fully explained, leaving only the voices she heard at around midnight or 12:30.
I have always believed that episode of voices to be explained by Arnelle's return and her saying goodbye to the person(s) she was out with, for the simple reason that Arnelle's and RL's reporting of the time so closely matches.
Now.....so far Jasper has NOT cited any testimony or sources thatr would lead me -- or, I believe any objective observer -- to abandon that idea. Please note that this last sentence is NOT the same as saying that my "solution" to the 12:30 voices is correct to the exclusion to all others. For all I know, RL dreamed the voices, or it was Westec officers shooting the bull, or...whatever. I personally reject Jasper's explanation for the 12:30 voices not because of any inherent contradictions in RL's testimony, but because I have many, many other objections to Jasper's theory, or which his explanation of these voices is but one part. That is, if I believed his whole theory to be credible, I would believe his particular explanation of the 12:30 a.m. voices, but since I don't, I don't.
As for Fuhrman's statements about the "screaming woman" and so forth to RL and he was leaving the Salinger property. The insights of other posters on this discussion were very sharp. But I can offer one more, which I do not expect to be popular here since I believe Fuhrman to be innocent of any wrongdoing in the OJ case, and that is: MF was physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted at the time, due to lack of sleep, having driving a couple of hundred miles, and then suddenly being plunged into the biggest murder case in LA's history, that he simply "zoned out" for a few seconds and asked questions appropriate for neighbors of BUNDY instead of neighbors of ROCKINGHAM. Consider, if you will, that the questions MF asked of RL would have been perfectly appropriate if asked of a neighbor of Nicole's.
