But now an amended order is about to be posted---one that shows that OJ's mom is losing her house in order to pay off the $141,000 bill owed to Marjorie Fuller, the Orange County atty who was appointed by the courts in 1995 to represent the children in the bitter custody battle that ensued after N's slaying and OJ's subsequent arrest. OJ eventually won custody of S&J---but at the same time, he was hit with a judgment awarding $192,817 in legal fees to Fuller. Records show that credits (apparently payments) eventually reduced the debt to $107,817. But as of May 5, when the latest judge's order was issued, the bill had racked up $33,704 more in interest---bringing the debt to $141,529. When the bills didn't get paid, Fuller went after OJ's assets---only to find that many had already been sold off to help satisfy that $33.5M wrongful death judgment won by the heirs of Nicole Simpson and the other stabbing victim, Ron Goldman. But there was still the house at 101 Apollo St. where Eunice simpson lived---a house, it turns out, that OJ had kept in his own name ever since he bought it for his mother in the early 70s. So now the courts have authorized a sheriff's auction for sometime next month---that is, barring somebody stepping in to pay off the $141,529 in liens on the house. Reached at her Southern Calif. office yesterday, Fuller declined to comment.
