They are still saying he turned around but turned back around when the cop drew his gun and got shot in the back.
The witnesses next to him say that he did not point a gun at the cop--no time for one thing.
Also, it sounds more like now that he was in the process of moving the gun up rather than pointing. This is a different story than before.
The story keeps changing.
The story was at first that both cops were together (not true), that he went down the driveway (not true, went along the other side of house). We were given the impression the other cop witnessed it--not true.
It is more and more obvious that the cop had his gun out already. Otherwise, I don't think even their story would work.
