Charlie,
Just had a chance to read the whole article. I've seen this dynamic before. I see it all the time at NPR and in our local media (no hope, there). My brother saw it in the Detroit Police Department before he retired. Same kind of crap Pool went through. In fact, I'm right in the middle of that corrupt, mendacious, shortsighted, criminal, don't-rock-boat way of doing business at Ford. My cousin had the identical problem at GM. Bottom line seems to be that the truth is a very low priority item in a lot of large, powerful organizations regardless of whether they are supposed to exist for accurate and balanced new, better and cheaper cars, or a fair ration of justice.
All you can do is keep on fighting and hope that you will find a weapon that will force these organizations to put the truth first. --Jasper
