I hate to agree with you on this but my experience over the past four years had forced me to change my mind. Yes, there were honest mistakes. You can do your best to limit them but you can't avoid them altogether. The trouble is too many people made too much money and earnd too much fame and glory by failing to correct those mistakes and doing everything they can to keep them from being corrected.
I don't think it's a matter of some FU Man Chu kind of character secretly rewardiing people in powerful posiitons to service his agenda. I think it's a matter fundimental flaws in our institutions that give preference to a safe lie over a dangerous truth. More about that later. Gotta do an interview. --Jasper
