Jasper, MF's description of his Mom may have been an out and out lie as well. She may not have been overprotective at all. She might have been but he could have lied too---in order to not say anything bad about her.
If he was as versed as the doctor thought he was in psychological info --enough to manipulate it--he may have known full well that telling anything much about his Mom may have given the doctor a world of info on HIM>
ALL parents have little quirks and foibles (sp) that the children may or may not have problems with. But if there were some serious issues, he may have stayed completely away from those when speaking to the doctor.
I realize this info came from the tabloids but it was never challenged. It was usually accompanied with the interviews from the people in the town as to his harassment of the black family (along with his brother) and another where he blindsided a neighbor man with a punch when he was a young man.
To my knowledge he never spoke or wrote anywhere that tabloid stories about he or his family were false. charlie
