It could be possible that everyone is reading too much into Kato's actions. Now I have had similar things to occur. Say for some reason I visit a neighbor that I rarely visit. I might because of the first visit in which we hit it off. Go back say to bring the cookies over. Then they might say how about coming over for a swim, etc. It is possible for a short visit to esculate into several visits that day. It was Sunday after noon. Both had kids they were missing. They both may have been just a bit lonely and wanted soem company. Just one of those odd coincendences. Kato was lonely or he would not have spent all that time on the phone.
