I think you have an excellent working hypothesis. It may account for all of the evidence (we have to get very anal about that) and it makes sense. Best of all, it is testable against facts we have yet to learn.
By now, you know that I have a big problem with the coincidences required to fill some of the big gaps. What modifications would you make to take some of the coincidence out of it? --Jasper
