Please explain to me how Furhman can guarantee that a noise will make Kato come out of his guest house? A chicken sort like Kato who will do anything and say anything to keep himself in the clear. Had he thought a prowler was behind his guest house he would have called O.J. gone to O.J.'s door, or else wiggled the door into the house with the alarm on it and locked to cause the alarm to go off at Westec. Kato is not the protector type. Especially using a penlight. I don't mean to sound sarcastic. This is just common sense. Maybe Kato would have checked but with the other two options, how can Furhman have control of this situation? Now, if Furhman has something on Kato or else has watched Kato and seen his habits, he might know that on Sunday nights Kato meets someone behind his guest house. I have always believed a connection between Kato and Furhman, however you didn't so I came up with other options that still fit. I also have figured that if he was watching Kato that he soon discovered that Kato was one who put himself in the middle of hoopla and media so that if some hint even to Kato that something was up Kato might make the best of it. The most understandable reasoning is that Kato believed he was part of a group of Nicole's friends who were planning to set up a Domestic Violence Incident between O.J. Simpson and Nicole, making Nicole five million and O.J. is in Chicago not realizing what has happened until he is called. Everyone hears Nicole's side before O.J. can come home and tell he wasn't even there. No one would have believed it. This is about the best reason for Kato to be assured to be back there to be told how well the "incident" went. He is probably told it went great and then in the morning his planned response to the police, did O.J.'s plane crash? Making guilty knowledge seem to not exist with Kato. His going with O.J. to get the Hamburger gives him what he needs to not give the alibi O.J. really had. I don't believe they got all real phone records and only forged one. No way will I believe that. There are many ways to make sure Kato was where he was that night, but why plan to plant the glove there and not drip blood in that direction? This shows his changing his mind where to plant the glove because of what Kato said. This is the problem with this case. So many dichotomies.
