I went to the Verizon website and read a great deal.
It has a frequently asked questions part and/or answers questions about service in that way.
There was a question about billing of more than one line in one bill.
It said that they were billed on the same bill BUT that each line would be Indentified on the page by a line called Calls Billed to and then the number.
This is what is written in the left margin of this bill. (exactly)
On the bill, however, this number is distorted badly and hard to read. It looks like it has been changed or tampered with to me.
There is no need for this indicator if there is only one line. The number of the main bill and account number and customer number is at the top. (as is on mine) If there is ONLY one line there is no need for this added indicator in the margin.
Neither myself nor my Mom has this in the margin as neither of us have more than one line.
If anything is written there it is the 800 number to call if there are any questions about the bill.
Since it says Specifically on that website (formerly GTE) that the phrase Calls billed to number on the specific pages--I think this strongly suggests a multi-line bill.
