Prien, Thanks for checking that for me. I wasn't sure if it were just the way it appeared on my tv monitor or not.
This (what you saw) is what you get when someone is trying to make a column with a typewriter where the paper will slip slightly or some other thing like a 1/2 space gets involved.
I only VERY slightly disagree about the defense accepting it. It is 100% possible that it was a fake acceptance of the bill. However, it is possible too that they were not given but a short minute to accept or reject it. If it were also turned over with say a cover letter from GTE they might not have looked that closely. Look how long it took us to go over it with a fine tooth comb.
Also, it is important to see this laid side by side with another GTE bill as I did and discover the predetermined 10 spaces for the cities, etc.
It is very possible that the later call is also on Nicole's bill. This however, was done to either hide calls or change where they went to or something of that nature.
Several of us are suspicious of the only 1, 2 or 3 (mostly 1 minute) calls at a time like this--after a death.
I mentioned before of times that surround a death and calling long distance--and 1 or 2 minute calls just don't happen. Perhaps you call Some people with answering machines and leave messages but for them ALL to appear (or mostly) to be this way is ridiculous. Did they not call Anybody with whom they had a reasonable expectation of talking live to in those first traumatic hours?
Denise had to call her lawyer at least and cancel the court appearance that day--if in fact that is truly why she was up early that morning. Or perhaps even call the courthouse herself.
It was portrayed as this being the only line when we know this is highly unlikely given Judy's travel business and the two other women living there.
One of those calls is allegedly to Chris Jenner..according to Bobby K. that morning just before he went to OJ's house. (the 9 to 10:30 period I would say) Are we to believe the conversation in which she allegedly tells Chris about the murder, her plans for lunch, the glasses, etc. all took place in less than 3 minutes?
I think I will get those numbers from Jean and try a reverse lookup. Those numbers may be changed now (the Browns isn't though) but it might be interesting to see if I get any hits.
