Agree with this about the trip to Santa Monica for the verdict.
If I recall, all day there had been rumors that the verdict was coming and coming soon. I would say their (Brown) lawyers told them to be prepared to leave at a moment's notice.
I think OJ didn't even start to come over til it was indicated that the Browns were close in town.
I recall the whole works got held up due to the wait for the Browns.
