I don't think Hodgman was sincere about anything that he didn't believe would help his case against O.J. When Marcia Clark ran Deputy DA Lucienne Coleman out of her office for trying to tell her about Fuhrman's nazi baggage, he just sat there and later denied that it happened. In other words, he left an honest prosecutor twisting in the wind to protect a dishonest one - and a nazi.
Charlie was right about this sort of thing being all over the transcripts. It's one of the things that make it impossible to take anything you read on face value. If you keep reading you are almost certain to find something that disputes it. That's why there are so may theory's around. If you want to prove your theory - whatever it is - you can always find something to dispute it. The chore is always to sort out what's valid from what isn't. The questions about Juditha Brown's phone records should tell you about that. What in the word is Hodgman doing sitting on them and contributing to the confusion as opposed to using his knowledge and authority to put all questions about it to rest? It makes since only if confusion is what he wants. Any confusion about the timeline helps Mark Fuhrman. Everything Hodgman did in the case that involved Fuhrman was to help him.
There is no way of tracking all of the false leads in this case and no evidence that the prosecution EVER investigated ANYTHING that could show how any evidence in the case might have been tampered with by someone on the inside. In fact, the incident where Marcia kicked Lucienne Coleman out of her office was sparked by Coleman's comment to Officer Andy Purdy that the defense was way off base in suggesting that Fuhrman would plant evidence. He told her that he wouldn't put it past him. Purdy then told Coleman about the swastika-in-the-locker incident where Fuhrman's fingerprints were found inside his locker.
Coleman started digging and got corroborating testimony from other officers about the swastika incident and other questionable aspects of Fuhrman's involvement in the case. Among other things, she learned of Fuhrman boasting about seeing Nicole's "boob-job up close and personal." Hodgman didn't want to hear any of it. Furthermore, when Marcia lied under oath about not having a long conversation with Fuhrman at Rockingham on the 13th, Hodgman said nothing. He was there.
If anyone in the case needs to be investigated it's William Hodgman. - Jasper
