I wonder if the numbers were on the pager. I wonder if it was Ron's Pager or just a throw down piece of evidence that left a message. Don't deal drugs or prostitutes, don't talk. From whomever really did this and then set up the Crime Scene. Who's son was Tanya Babysitting that night which is why she didn't go to the recital?
