Yes, I believe he said he did both. He gave more details on Nic's phone than he did on the radio.

I found all kinds of inconsistencies like that especially in the V & L book. Fuhrman was more careful when he wrote.

One was the DR number --the reason Vannatter claimed he couldn't do anything with OJ's blood because he didn't have one.

Yet, the next morning between 6:45 and 7:00 --amongst about a 1/2 dozen other things he did was call over and get the DR number on the phone. In another place, he had gone into great detail to tell how only the lead detective could do this. Well, why the hell didn't he do it the day before.

Sheer laziness as Toobin says in his book or something else?
