Ms. Marple, I didn't realize that about Riske not testifying those areas and not saying he used the phone at first.
Recently, I have wondered about something due to some conversations here.
Since Faye claimed that she was talking to NIcole at 10:45 (pretty adamant at one point about it), is it possible that she had her phone outside WITH her? If it was a cordless phone, it would still work outside. (people take them out in yard and to the pool, etc, the garage, etc.)
I have wondered if this was a cover for returning the phone to the stand in the kitchen from being found at the scene?
I also noticed something else in the V & L book. They claim to ONLY have OJ's word that he called Nicole's just prior to 9 to talk to Sydney.
Huh? As Prien and I and others have discussed, it is standard operating procedure for cops to do a "phone dump" in investigating cases--especially murders.
It is quite UNBELIEVABLE to me that OJ"s phone would not have had such a search done on it.
My sister (GTE/VERIZON employee who has done one of these) tells me (as do NY cops tell Prien) that it is easy to do. You get all the incoming and out going calls--even just the attempts that do not make a connection.
It is quite UNBELIEVABLE that one of these was not done on Nicole's and ALL major players in the case--the Brown's, Kato's, Arnelle's, etc.
In fact, it is NOT believable!! Especially not done in Nicole and OJ's phone.
