They claim they only had a year to file the lawsuit. The Brown's waited till the last day and did so in the name of the estate for the kids to protect their inheritence. Sharon Rufo started the other the filings in May of 95 and then Goldman soon followed after but not before making a scene about what a money gruber Rufo was. Then he turned around and filed his own. If Punitive Damages were not allowed the Simpson Kids would not have anything but their Dad's retirement. Everything could have been taken by the Goldman's.
