I was again going over The Black Dahlia to figure out why it seems to haunt this case. I found a few things. If I wrote this before I am sorry, I just don't remember.
When asked if there were kids toys in the Bath Officer Riske says that he was looking for bodies.
In Black Dahlia murder a writer who was obsessed with the Black Dahlia murder because his own Mother was murdered spoke of nightmares that have to do with lowering a body into a bath and cutting it in water and blood gurgling as the body is mutilated and drained of blood. I am being vague because of the request of the web page where the info is.
In Bundy case we have a writer obsessed with the case because his daughter was murdered by beating. Just another link, an obessessed writer Dunne.
In Bundy case bodies were drained of all but ten percent of blood.
In Dahlia case the body was completely washed and made sure that no fingerprints might be found on the body, or so they opined. They did finally find one, but no more is said about it.
In Bundy Case there is the alleged bloody fingerprint on the back gate as well as a bath ran.
In Dahlia Case a man reports driving by the area and seeing a short guy in a car emptying something that he couldn't see. He said that the man was startled and sped off with tires squealing.
In Bundy Case Heidstra says that he hears a Hey Hey Hey and gate slam, then a car takes of real fast. Something like this.
In Bundy case Furhman believes the plastic in back of Bronco is to transport body.
In Dahlia case clearly the body was transported. In fact the belief is that the body was cut in half to transport it, of course just speculation.
In Bundy case the female's legs are spread apart and shoved under the gate with left foot placed on menu.
In Dahlia case the lower torso is places where it belongs and legs spread apart with an area on left ankle is cut off.
In Dahlia case it was reported although not true that she was a tease and went out with many men and allegedly had sex with three men, we know this is impossible for her. She was not considered a bar fly, but was going out often and dressing a certain way so as to be known.
In Bundy case the prosecution made a point of showing Nicole as a person who dressed sexy and the first media reports had her wrapping her body around Ron Goldman's as a greeting when she first arrived at the Mezzeluna.
In Dahlia case a man who saw her and gave her a ride from San Diego with, a Salesman, took her to the bus station to put her things into a locker as she had been asked to leave the residence of the people she was staying with. This man'd nsmr esd Manly. The victim had him take her to the Biltmore hotel to meet her sister and he kept approaching women asking them if they were her sister. She had said she was going to the Powder Room and never returned. He had decided to go back to his wife and make a go of his marriage. This case ruined his life although he had been completely cleared by polygraph and truth serum. This case followed him and his family and his wife finally had to commit him to mental institution.
The Bundy case has in a way ruined O.J. Simpson's life as he knew it and some crazy man or hit man might kill him at any moment. His kids will always be looked at in a certain way. Nicole was the best looking in her family and so did Dahlia as well as having only sisters.
There is much more but my mind keeps losing the similarities. They could have taken the Dahlia Case and used the facts to give a story to the press to cover the truth. Just a thought. Otherwise the person who did the Bundy Crime used the Murders as some sort of payback parody to Paramount for Naked Gun by recreating as much as possible the Dahlia killing and destroying a man who was actually finding a new acting career in comedy. Not was never really a great actior but he had great timing for comedy. Like Leslie Neilson and Lloyd Bridges, O.J. Simpson had finally found his acting niche in Comedy. His life as he knew it was completely destroyed and this will follow him forever.
