The similarities are like the movies. They have the case in a file and a detective still has the case. There is not an officer in the LAPD that doesn't know the in's and outs of this case. The untrue leak that Nicole's breast implants had been cut out. Beth Short's breasts were removed. There was something strange going on in Nicole's life that was not seen by many. She appeared to be a good person who hung out with prostitutes. Even though the Dahlia didn't have sex she used her looks to get men to support her and she also had horrible decayed teeth pluged with waz. The same appearance of beauty and goodness, yet something hidden. She was placed in a place the media insisted was a notorius make out spot. The media outlet owned by Hearst had an exclusive on this case because the murderer sent the newspaper some personal items of the Dahlia. Twisting of facts and outright lies were put in print just like the Bundy Murders except there was also Television media as well and NBC Parent Company got the real exclusives with NBC, CNBC, MSNBC. They made this case a public outrage worse than McMartin. No not really because people still harass those poor people. The LAPD were openly corrupt from the twenties through the fifties. Rampart has shown they are corrupt now. What if they took bits and pieces of the Dahlia case to hide how they really died and where. Maybe when Dr. Johnson says the Autopsy photo's and the explanation of the wounds fit together. Perhaps he doesn't mean the obvious only. Maybe they just used the info from the Black Dahlia to make this case more sensational.
