Jean, The glass front door out of the LR is a Patio type door. Not a sliding door but a glassed door which does in its way look like a window. Puts me in mind of say a "French door' type thing for LOOKS rather than Utility.

The Wooden Front door is the true front door. It does go into the dining room. There is a back door for trash and stuff that goes out the garage.

Why they wanted us at times to believe the front door was at the top of the steps behind Nicole and at other times stressed the front door as the Wooden front door nearly 40 feet back, I have no idea.

I think it may have to do with the ACTUAL place that things were found and they wanted us to have certain impressions of it.

You will notice in some diagrams I sent you that the door is not even in the right place for either location.

And in Fuhrman's book, his diagram leaves the door completely off. He does not put the shoeprints going past the front door either (on the porch). He quits by then leaving the impression to readers that the front door is in the area where he HAS placed the foot prints.

If you watched the trial again, you would see the DA's diagrams were of a cartoon nature and the defense's were of the real blue print kind.

If you watched the trial again, you would also see a diagram used in the Fung testimony where Nic's body is actually BETWEEN the steps behind her and the steps up to the front porch. THAT one was amazing. They actually had her lying where the most famous of the shoeprints are.

I think if the mystery of the front door COULD be solved, we could go a long way as to seeing what happened here.

Also, in rereading Riske's testimony to Blaser in the civil trial, he "cannot" locate the front door with a pointer for Blaser
