I purchased Dr. Lee's book yesterday and of course read the OJS part first (the last section) after I got home from work last night.

In general, I was very disappointed. Although he says the right things about the cops had obviously lied and the kind of lying they did and their inconsistent and differing accounts suggest tampered evidence---he is real short on actual info.

He even shows two photos of the envelopes in different positions but the photos are so bad and grainy you can't tell anything from them. And he does not point out just how they are different.

The worst thing is the errors that are made in the facts. And there are many. He has Fung admitting on the stand HE put the blanket on Nicole. He has the distance between Rockingham and Bundy as 25 miles. Really bad errors.

Makes me wonder if they weren't deliberate---to cover his rear. Allows people to say if he is so wrong about these things, perhaps he is wrong in his conclusions.

A couple things that I did notice however.

He says OJ returned just before 11:30 and was handcuffed. This is rarely stated but I have a CNN tape and new articles that say the same---when Vannatter claimed OJ did not get there til after 12 and was there only about 10 minutes. It was more like 40 minutes. In 40 minutes, a lot more talk and questioning can take place than in 10 mostly taken up with getting OJ out of the handcuffs.

Another is that Dr. Lee talks about Dr. Golden and his conclusions. Almost everybody recalls that he says that two knives and two killers are possible. What they tend to FORGET that he says (and the reason I believe he did not testify--waving guns around aside) is that he says that 75% OF THE CRITERIA POINT TO THE TIME OF DEATH BEING AFTER 11 oclock.

Dr. Lee doesn't mention it but he also said that Ron could/likely was killed a little later than Nicole.

Dr. Lee fails to tell us what this criteria is but I sure would like to know.

This was Dr. Lee's opportunity to get into specfics and tell of new evidence found in the civil trial when he saw for the first time better photos--photos that hadn't been cropped. But he doesn't even mention the 7 drops of blood leading out front found on an uncropped photo.

Dr. Lee had a big chance here---and blew it.
