Exactly right. Any police caught planting evidence, any lab who deliberately misrepresents evidence, any prosecutor who lies, or knowingly presents witnesses who lie and any judge who lets it happen should serve the sentence that the prosecution asks for the defendent. They have some laws on the books like this that are not enforced. Once that do it a few times all this injustice will stop.
