It is disturbing, Kari. People want sleeze, papers print what sells, so they print whatever gossip they get their hands on. And if that is not enough I'm sure some creative minds make up some more. And reporters are not one bit responsible for what they do to people. If you add upp Blake's actions in the relationship, it seems like he is a decent guy. And if anyting at all said about her is true, she seems at least recourseful. It doesn't make sense.
I never believed the story about Nicole calling the women's shelter either. It didn't make sense, didn't fit character and circumstances. Just didn't fit. Miss Marple
