Looking through old files I found this from a February ng. Responce there was basically "nobody remembers events exactly the same way" (!!)
VANATTER discovered the blood in the Bronco, when he was all by himself sometime after seven in the morning, after Fuhrman/Phillips left for Bundy to compare gloves and Lange left to start investigating the murders.
BRAD ROBERTS, (according to Fuhrman, always according to Fuhrman) discovered the blood in the Bronco after they returned from said mission. The discovery much excited Vanatter, who must have forgotten that he had already discovered the blood all by himself.
OFFICER GONZALES was directed by Fuhrman at about 5.20, as he first arrived at Rockingham to view the blood in the Bronco. Saw TWO LARGE DROPS of blood on the console. He also saw blood on the running board.
OFFICER ASTON a few minutes later walked in a loose group with all the detectives to view the blood in the Bronco. Saw A SMEAR on the console.
Could all these outstanding officers be telling the truth, - or?????
DETECTIVE MULDORFER saw no blood (but was not looking for blood??)
BLASINI saw no blood and was looking for some.
MERAZ saw no blood and was looking for some. Miss Marple
