Being your usual incisive self, eh? Searchign for evidence they didn't want to look for before, indeed. That, folks, gives away the entire game. Of course they would not want to search for evidence at a location they were planning to plant it later. I mean, how would it look to have searched the place and found nothing, and then go back and find what turns out to be incredibly incrimninating evidence? Suppose maybe even Ito would have noticed something was wrong?
