If you are talking about Ruby Ridge, you don't know what you are speaking of.
They were doing NOTHING to ANYBODY. Weaver had a court date he did not show up for but it was learned he was DELIBERATELY not told when it was.
It escalated from there.
Long ago it was determined the FEDS were wrong her and Weaver was paid $3 million in damages and the other guy there who was shot was paid money as well.
The sharp shooter (by law and by the rules of engagement) was NOT supposed to shoot. Those in charge were caught destroying documents and and lying about the incident and some were fired.
Would it surprise you to learn that the Idaho standoff with the kids that just ended was a Land grab? That there had been an on-going 4 year attempt to the the $500,000 property from these people? That the kids had ONLY 15 dogs (not 27), the DID have food, and they DID have electricity, and they DID have water?
That the attempt to GET the property escalated with the death of the father?
That they were suspicious and reclusive BECAUSE of the attempts to grab the land?
This sort of thing happens Everywhere. Back in 92 there was a land grab on a guy in MALIBU by using false marijuana charges where a Swat team went in and killed the wealthy owner (a man named Scott). The land backed up to Federal land and there had been an attempt to Grab this land for YEARS.
THere is no doubt any longer that Ruby Ridge was wrong and the charges bogus. The FEDs paid damages.
