The story is told two different ways. One thing that is clear. All individuals, except the baby, knew that sharpshooters were outside. There was no sneak attack. There was no excuse to put that baby in danger by taking it to the front door when sharpshooters were outside. For whatever reason the people with guns were inside, and the people with guns were outside is beside the point. The fourteen year old son of Randy Weaver who was also shot had a shotgun in his hands. This happened in December of 1992 when President Bush Sr was in the White House and William Sessions was head of the FBI. They ordered this, as well as worked up the plan to take Waco to stop the alleged child abuse. Why didn't William Sessions come up with a plan where they could have arrested David Koresh when he was in town the same day every week? If we are going to get political, lets tell the truth. None of us supports the actions of Ruby Ridge but it happened under Bush/Sessions watch. Had the baby's Mother lived she would have been charged with Child Endangerment for picking up a baby and walking in front of an open door with the knowledge of SharpShooters outside. It is an enormous tragedy. William Sessions was the FBI Director until about a Month after the Waco Fire and the man who lied about the tear gas not being flammable when it was very flammable has been sentenced. If the man just missed a court appearance for a minor charge why was it the FBI out there with Sharpshooters and not the local police? Sounds like a Federal Charge to me.
