And you are missing the fact that Most of what they used as so-called reasons for going in are proving to be LIES.
And that the newspaper can document a series of news articles about the county's attempts to get the property.
Kari can tell you of the McMartin case in CA that was a total lie.
Janet Reno was involved in a similiar case in MIami that turned out to be a total fabrication and it went on for years. I don't recall the case name but Reno was the prosecutor.
If it was a lie about the water, electricity, the heat, the malnutritian and other things, I think another look at the other charges are in order.
They have learned most of the dogs were puppies or pregnant dogs. The kids never fired a shot.
If within days of the ending of the standoff, we learn that MOst of it was a lie, I think looking more closely at the whole story is called for.
People will make up stories or exaggerate for many hidden reasons. Perhaps the neighbors wanted the property to go to the county for some reason.
The fact that it was HIDDEN til it was over with that the county was attempting to get the property is suspicious in itself.
It is the local newspapers who are exposing the story now. They say the national press just "ate up" and "spit out" ANYTHING that the local authorities told them.
There have already been reports that if the mother will "just sign certain papers" she can get out and have her kids back. Does that sound like they have a big abuse case against her to you?
