I suppose a simpler way to say it is to just state that every Red Herring had a direct purpose. If O.J. Simpson was shown innocent today people would assume Jason did it because of the latest book out. It is causing a stir. No one can ever be convicted of this crime because of the layers if Red Herrings that surround this case. Each Red Herring leads into a different direction. It is the most clever use of odd clues I've ever seen. To try O.J. Simpson they had to twist physics, bend it backwards. To go for Jason now you'd have reasonable doubt because so many believed he did it for so long, whatever direction you turn in this case, another suspect another set of red herrings. The trick is to not be the one left holding the bag, as well as become the next John Grisham. Furhman has achieved both.
