Good question Jasper. I was totally unaware that Ron wore glasses. Any pictures I've viewed were without glasses, and surely at that time of night he would not require sunglasses. If they were just reading glasses it would not be necessary to wear them if you are going out on the town to catch a babe or two.
I still feel the attraction to Ron and glasses was the white envelope, which no one would be able to determine was in it, until they looked. I'm sure they were disappointed the glasses were not drugs.
