I just finished reading Sheila Weller's "Raging Heart" (again). This time I marked all allegations that were second and third hand. Actually there wasn't much left after that. Weller has very cleverly managed to use the names of wellknown faces in the case that she interviewed for the book, and connect them to no name statements that all point to OJ as the villain.
Marguerite confided her unhappyness to "a woman who was an actor's exwife",
According to "someone who overheard the conversations", Jason said.....
Ship "was heard to say"....
"According to separate accounts (one a friend the other a trusted babysitter)"....
.."opines a male friend"...."and a female friend is quick to say"...
"The person who witnessed this" says:....
Aren't you a little scared, Nicole? Linda wanted to know "according to someone to whom Nicole later told this story".
"According to someone" to whom Nicole relayed this converstation...
And it goes on and on. There are lots of people out there who have based their opinion of O.J. on this book.
"The friends of Nicole's didn't believe at first that he killed her, "but says one, when we heard her breasts were slashed, we knew who did it".
And the slashing couldn't be undone. Who gave that to the press? Someone who knew "up close and personal" about Nicole's breast implants? Miss Marple
