Jasper, I think a "child's pendant" is the ONLY way that cop described what he saw on the driveway that night.
I don't think he characterized it as a heart--plastic or glass.
That is one reason I have always doubted this story and thought perhaps it really was the ankh necklace that Fred Goldman called a press conference over.
Whatever it was or was not, Freddy's press conference of a heretofore unheard of ankh necklace being found at the scene after having been ripped from Ron's neck and thrown down is another of the major puzzles of this case.
Was it a lie by Freddy? Was it a lie by the cops To Freddy?
If true, it was withheld evidence? Would it have told a different scenario than we were told?
Why did Freddy never question it?
If the pendant was really the ankh found in the rear of the condo, what is wrong with this picture?
