My thoughts exactly.
I would love to believe that O.J. reads this board but I have seen zero evidence that he reads ANYTHING about the case that isn't handed to him by a few close friends. I have seen no evidence that he knows Donald Freed, Christopher Springer or me - the people who have done the most to clear him and to nail real killer - from the people who pick up his garbage.
Charlotte and Pat Whetham reported that O.J.'s lawyer Mary Cox mentioned my book on some big show before it was in print (the printer was busy screwing up the pictures) and said that a lot of people would sit up and take notice. But she never called me, she never answered my calls and never met with me about my research, my credentials or the book. As soon as Dr. Johnson said he had proof that Nicole was alive after 11:00, that was the end of any talk about Fuhrman as a murder suspect. That was the end of anyone from O.J.'s camp saying anything about Iago. I don't think that anyone in his camp ever mentioned Killing Time or either of Chris Springer's books.
O.J. is as responsible for getting the public to chase Red Herring as anyone. Show me a drug hit theory that places him (and the killer) well in the clear, and I'll show you his idea of where to look. --Jasper
