Marcia also lied about not meeting with Fuhrman at Rockingham. I have no idea why the defense didn't call her on it. Shortly after the murders a television station ran a clip of her with Fuhrman by O.J.'s pool taken from a helicopter camera on the 13th. I never saw that clip again, but Fuhrman mentioned the meeting and the helicopter in his book. What he said sounded like what I saw.
Another thing about Marcia and Fuhrman that I wrote about in Iago has to do with the question of who ordered the photographs of the cars and the blood drops on O.J.'s driveway. We might assume that it was Vannatter or Lange but Marcia outranked them all and she was the one who had to make her case in court. The thing is, the EXACT placement of the blood drops and the cars are crucial to determining O.J.'s movements if the bleeding coincided with his alibi.
The fact is, it does, but it's a bear to figure out just where the cars and the blood drops where relative to the landmarks on the driveway. In design, this sort of thing is called "cheating" because the people who do it know they are creating a false impression of reality to sell an idea. The cars were definitely moved and the blood drops were taken at angles and distances that made it impossible for anyone but an expert in scale and proportion to determine where they actually were.
So, who ordered the pictures? Was it Vannatter, Lange or Marcia - with a little help from an artist who knew how to "cheat"? --Jasper
