I read a book called Without Conscious which is about Psychopaths --who are pathologicial liars.
He fits the pattern--exactly.
It says they add on or improve on their story or change their story (if it becomes necessary) without concern that the new story doesn't match the elements of the original story at all.
He may have testified that he didn't go up at 8 but told in his book that he did---to clear the house of occupants. I have often wondered who these "occupants" were. All known people were accounted for either downstairs or outside (Kato, AC, Arnelle and the children).
And if they thought there were people upstairs earlier why didn't they check on their welfare?
Like you, I am shocked and stunned at what people accept from him as the truth--when it matches nothing about what he said previously. And certainly not what he testified to.
When he told Judge Crier on Fox News (after she had been eating up everything he said) that there was blood all over the bathroom and tub at Rockingham, Crier looked like she had been slapped and turned cold as ice to him. He also said that Clark knew it and saw it for herself.
And about Clark---recall she is the one who told the court (not under oath becasue Ito refused to put her under oath even though Cochran requested it) that she did not meet with Fuhrman at Rockingham, talk to him on the patio and then move into the house when an overhead helicopter started filming them. All the while CNN was showing the video showing just what she was denying.
I have a strong suspicion that I know WHY Clark and Darden quietly withdrew for EVER trying a case again...actually said so long before the case is over.
