You always have your wife drive you to work because you are too weak to carry your briefcase, take on a new client (Blakely Homicide), salute the cemetery everytime you go past it, then go home in the afternoon, pass up all the employee's in the cemetery, after you suddenly gain new strength and drive yourself to the cemetery to commit suicide.
I don't "buy" it!
Not to mention the conflict of interest to defend the police officers from Rampart, be the attorney to the Commanding Officer's Association of LAPD, and still handle a homicide client (Ole Baretta). Can anyone say, "conflict of interest?
Levin was most likely a very good guy and a great attorney. I for one am sad for his death. What a book he could have written.
