Mike is right. It makes no sense because panic trumps reason every time. The Rockingham animations should tell everyone the tale. There are only so many real possibilities in a situation bounded by real time and real space and only so much room for coincidence within those boundaries.
O.J.'s cut finger on Rockingham is a suspicious coincidence. However, the fact that it IS a coincidence is verified by the blood drops that Dennis Fung marked and Andrea Mazzola collected. It was a cut so small that that it closed on its own and no one but O.J. noticed it when it opened again shortly before he left for LAX.
The only reasonable explanation for the cut in Chicago is that O.J. did it deliberately to explain the blood drops that he knew he left on Rockingham. The only reasonable explanation for a lie like that is panic. So, why did he panic THEN?
Where are the signs of panic before he got to Chicago?
1) The parking angle of the Bronco (Fuhrman/ Lange/ Marcia) 2) The stick (Fuhrman) 3) The thumps (Fuhrman/ Marcia) 4) The Rockingham glove (Fuhrman/ Marcia) 5) O.J.'s comment about being warm in the limo (Park/ Marcia) 6) O.J.'s frequent trips to the airplane restroom (Marcia)
Five and six are nonsense. One through four are connected to O.J. only by the discoveries, observations and theories of Mark Fuhrman.
