Jade and All, …..It is always an adventure to see how or if each new board will work. You can thank Keith for getting this one up and running. He is facing the unbelievably huge task of reorganizing the thousands of Smartfellows Press files that have to be reorganized to keep the Iago board from crashing and the rest of the site from freezing in place. ……Meanwhile, I have my hands full with the flow chart. Mario’s recent revelations about Pavelic and Rocky Bateman necessitate some difficult, time-consuming changes. Some of them will appear to be small but they are critical and require as much work as obvious changes. When you change one thing everything that touches on in has to change – including the logical inferences we can draw from the new configuration. Because of the time it takes to make these changes you will not see all of them right away. ……..I thought I was finished with the graphics part of the Faye Resnick puzzle piece last night but when I woke up this afternoon (I didn’t get to bed until 6 a.m.) I realized that I had to put another piece in place. Then, when I was trying to set up the text portion of the Resnick background piece, I realized that I had to calculate some key dates from disparate pieces of information because the dates were not shown where I needed them. ………Please be patient. This kind of work is harder than it seems. I have also had pressing personal issues to attend to. Recent questions about my integrity have made things even more difficult. None of us can afford a misreading of what I write in our collaborative efforts to be misinterpreted as a lie, let alone a factual error, which would otherwise be changed in the normal course of things with the correct information. ……….To reduce the occurrences of errors I can work only so long at a stretch. Paradoxically, I am posting this message on my “flow chart time.” When I take a break I have to get completely away from everything that might be involved in what I’m doing on the chart. I am therefore loath to check out the board or even go into my e-mail (which I hate to do anyway) during my breaks. This is how things are going to be for the next few days. Sorry about that. –Jasper
