Anon, …….. Larry Longo didn’t have to tell me a thing. Being a lawyer he knew that anything he said could bounce back on him if it didn’t correlate with facts we are bound to discover. He didn’t hang tough with the e-mail story Bosco reported although there was nobody to dispute him and it would have served him to be consistent. Instead, he said that he thought Bill told him he got it from a message some unidentified person left in his telephone voicemail. He wasn’t sure, as he wouldn’t have been if he dismissed it as soon as Bill said it. ……..This could be an apparent “lighting strike” incident where I thought I was a witness to what happened but I really wasn’t. I didn’t hear the person on the other line. I just heard Bill’s side of the conversation. He was joking at first. Then he was quiet, his tone turned somber. He came back to me and told me that he was talking to his lawyer. He said that his lawyer told him Fuhrman was behind the arrest warrant and that his lawyer was going to see what else he could find. He told me he would call me back. ……….A few minutes later Bill did call me back. He said that his lawyer traced his arrest AND the harassment that preceded it to Fuhrman. I asked him who his lawyer was and he said, “Larry Longo.” I knew the name but I couldn’t remember how I knew it. I just got a very bad “vibe” (which I now know is attributable what I read about his connection to the LADA’s office and to Suge Night). I told Bill not to trust Larry Longo. He seemed startled and told me that Larry Longo was a stand up guy. He asked me why he shouldn’t trust him. Considering the things he told me about his fight with Night in prison it didn’t make sense that he would trust him, but all I had then was a bad feeling about the name so I couldn’t give him a good answer. Then he shifted gears by asking me if I really thought Fuhrman committed the Bundy murders. I answered, “I know he did.” He asked me how I knew and I gave him three answers. He didn’t question them. He just moaned. ………Suppose Bill had been talking to someone other than Larry Longo and just gave me his name to let me know he or she was a reliable source and to protect the identity of his real source. Larry Longo could have told Joseph Bosco the truth as well as he recalled it but got his wires crossed with some of the details. I can imagine a scenario in which Bill talked to Larry about me and Fuhrman and the tip he got from somebody else about Fuhrman. None of this would have meant a thing to Larry Longo if he wasn’t directly involved in it. Therefore his recollection of what Bill told him could have been skewed by his subsequent conversations with Joseph Bosco and snippets from the Iago board that he read out of context. Talking to Larry Longo, it was clear to me that he didn’t have a clue what the context was. I think that both of us are damn curious about why Bill told me one Fuhrman story and told him another one. He could narrow things down by checking his March 9 phone records and comparing them to mine. I hope he does and shares what he finds. –Jasper
