Jasper, Thanks, I see I remembered almost all of it but not all.
I wonder about the DNA on the knit cap (seems to me a bunch of sweating going on in June in a knit cap during a knife fight).
I don't recall it even being mentioned as a possibility. Do you?
Since that first post, it did strike me that they didn't do any further investigation past the hat and the belt loop. They found the guy by using sniffing dogs and the belt loop. (a stretch I know)
It still hits me hard that with some "stolen" physical evidence-a frame is not that hard to do--esp. if the alibi is weak.
