I agree it is very strange that he concentrated on their "cut" of them. THEY lost a son too...to murder.
Perhaps they knew from Michael some things about Ron, Freddy, etc. from the relationship between Kim, Ron and Michael that he told them about.
It was like Freddy expected them to "pay tribute' in some way to him and Patti at that charity affair and when they didn't (actually turned away from him) he got mad.
I have noticed a pattern with Freddy though. I saw it with the guys who did not show up for the funeral and with any of the friends or witnesses in the case. If they didn't "tow the line" with the agreed on story--he was furious!!
It could be as simple as the Niggs knew stuff about Ron that they knew Freddy was hiding or helping the DA's and Cops hide.
Remember that Freddy went "berserk" on LKLive the night Freed suggested that there was a connection between Cantor and Ron and Nigg. He went all to pieces.
More speculation but what if the Niggs feel that the killers of their son can't be found and arrested due to info that the Goldman's are keeping quiet about?
