My position is that the killer, wearing latex gloves beneath the leather ones, checked the envelope to make sure they contained the glasses so that Ron's death would not appear to have been planned. I say his partner planted the cap taken from a plastic bag and put one of the killer's leather gloves into a plastic bag to plant somewhere on Rockingham later on.
10:47…I say that the lookout left the courtyard by the front gate with the glove and the killer left by the rear after slitting Nicole's throat, making artificial "defensive wounds on her hands and posing her body for pictures. I say he pulled his light-colored SUV from Nicole's garage and drove south to Dorothy where his vehicle was seen by Robert Heidstra at 10:47.
10:47-10:55. Kato the dog runs frantically back and fourth trying to get help. The dog is terrified that the killer may still be around and takes a long time to venture into the killing ground. He finally gets up the nerve to check it out, not daring to go past the bodies then retreats and heads south where Schwab finds him.
