I think the more that we each contribute, the more bells ring about the 10:47 time.
My point has always been that there were a LOT of people within that block in a short period of time and a lot of activity going on----centered around the approx time of 10:47. (give or take)
When I say that something is wrong with Schwab's time---I mean it. I still think it possible that he was much later, HOwever, if Karpf actually did see a man across the street at approx the time he said he did---I maintain that person could be Schwab. He says it usually takes him between 5-10 minutes to make that part of the trip from Dorothy to home. Let's average it to 8 minutes. Then add approx 5 (going by Jasper's numbers but it could be longer) minutes. The shows begin after the hour at approx 5 minutes after the hour due to commericials, intro , etc.
So if we take 13 minutes (or more) for that part of the trip that night, we do in fact have Schwab going by at about 10:47 or so. Or at least in that range of time.
I mention that it would be pressing credibility that there is another lone male walking his dog at approx the same time without ever reporting it to the cops after the murders. And walking in the same direction.
Now, if that person was part of the crime--a lookout of sorts----they would never call in and report it.
You may recall me saying that an usual number of people were out at approx that time seeing stuff compared to the rest of the night.
And we also have the 2 vehicles seen by Heistra as well.
Also, did Karpf actually say he drove past Nicole's to get to the alley? I really don't recall. The front of her condo I mean.
A lot of near misses as well. Heistra not seeing Kato at the corner under the street light barking and not seeing Schwab come by and finding him. But if Schwab is the 10:47 or so walker--he should have been going by the intersection about then.
My point is that there are some very near misses here. A possibility for sure but odd.
It makes me wonder just how the lookouts were communicating?
Just as Karpf could be a few minutes off, so could Schwab in his retelling.
