Pat,

Thanks for getting Linedecker off of my back. Canadian Court TV had to be a better source of information than OJ A to Z.

I first heard about the case a couple of days ago, so I couldn't tell you a thing about the program you wrote about. The Internet Movie Database has nothing about it.How did you know about it? Did you actually get to see it? When?

According to Linedecker, the first girl was murdered in 1983. Jeffries used his knowledge of DNA to create a forensic DNA technique in 1985 and made practical use of it for the first time in 1986 when the second girl was murdered.

Upon further investigation on the internet, I learned that the police some how got an innocent man to confess to the first murder but had to let him go when the DNA test cleared him and implicated someone else. It's hard (for me, at least) to find more details on this case, let along the film you mentioned. I bet Kate or Allita would know how to answer you question. Kari is pretty good at this sort of thing, too.

What do you say, Kari? Think you can help us learn who made the movie and when it was aired? All other great and daring researchers are welcome to join in. --Jasper
