Pat, Those were the numbers listed in the trial by several people and with them as well they said 11 1/2 included the grout.

The guy who visted the site prior to it being renovated and took pix also measured for himself that they were 11 x 11 in size.

BTW, those who said that they didn't measure or implied they didn't were just being insincere and lying.

The FIRST thing the person (a la Bodziak) had to do according to the forensic shoe on shoe size and identification was take the 35mm copy UP to the "real" size thru enlargements and that this must be done in an extremely precise way. It makes no sense whatsoever that they would not use the KNOWN size of the tile to do this. The more "markers" you have to do this the better. So just depending on two --6 in. rulers--laid down beside it end to end ALONE when you also have the standard tile size as well as a backdrop is next to ridiculous.
