But not only that, Charlie, it's the way the "stamp" looks so perfect. I did some stamping on wrapping paper for Xmas and if you don't put it on with same preassure on the whole stamp one side or the other will have a weaker pattern. If you apply that to a foot that puts down more preassure on the outside then that should show on the print. Not to mention that you cannot get a perfect heel print without the rest of the sole making some mark.
