Jolana, From very early on, I started making lists of things that were NOT done starting with the arrival of the cops that night.
I did that because it began to be clear to me that much of what they Should have done (like calling the coroner right away as a prime example) wasn't done and it made a BIG difference in the case.
When you also make a list of people not interviewed or not called to testify (as Nicole's maid as to what the usual bedtime, etc of the kids was) it gets to a Large Looming Gaping Hole in the cases.
And when the time of death was in question for Lange to state in court that it didn't matter what things that Ron did or did not do after work. Bath? Eat? Shave? Walk? Drive? Etc.?
And when you think that nobody bolstered the times at the recital but the Browns (Garvey's timeline was ignored). There were many other people in the audience at the recital. Same for the Mezzaluna times. Only the Browns and the Mezz employees testified as to that and when it came down to it, that testimony didn't truly match. Many other people --some of them friends of the Browns --were in the restuarant as well.
Hell, there was even a dispute as to how many people were there and who they were.
And the Rachel testimony was left out. NObody put Rachel at the restuarant. Not really. Yet she is said to have been there.
In itself, it might not (or it might) be important, but the fact that so many differing statements are out there without resolving them with a "neutral' witness is suspicious.
William Dear in his book says he learned that the Browns didn't sit down at the restuarant until 7:30 and if you add an hour and 18 minutes to that, you are up to 8:45 or so finishing the meal.
Which puts all the phone call at 9:37 in question.
As much as the tabloids were going after this story it was never told WHERE AC was short of it being at a birthday party and it was never told who Arnelle went to the movies with, what the saw, when the movie let out, etc.
So, what we Don't know or what was not asked or what was ignored looms large in this case.
