Miss Marple,
I know what you mean. I got the same feeling when Denise talked about her love for Nicole.
As you ran down a couple of the things we know about Shipp ("…he is no good and a fake") I realized that these were salient qualities shared by Fuhrman, Faye and Denise. That's four people with the same "voice" describing O.J. and Nicole as they never exited in print before Fuhrman's '89 letter to the city attorney.
If they had nothing but these traits in common one may be able to argue that the similar "voice" we hear in their descriptions of O.J. and Nicole grew out of those similar traits. But they had something else in common - apart from their involvement with cocaine (Shipp, Faye and Denise as users, Fuhrman as a narcotics cop) and their efforts to cash in on the murders.
Denise worked at a dress shop within five miles of Fuhrman's home in Redondo Beach. She had at least one significant contact with Ron Shipp and Faye Resnick, which her attorney advised her not to comment on in the civil trial (she had earlier claimed that she didn't know Faye). Ron Shipp was Fuhrman's "old friend" of nine years.
One way or anther all roads lead back to Fuhrman and the man at the intersection is Ron Shipp, a.k.a. Leo. --Jasper
