No offense against cops but a huge percentage of them are like Furhman. They are driven to this ego state by the awesome responsibility of caring for the lives of others. Or so my Ex Brother In Law used to say all the time and his fellow police officers agreed, as well the Sheriffs who worked with my Dad used to be less intense but they sure got their egos in a twist when any of us were around puffing themselves up around a few young girls. Police officers think analitically and need that drive for the truth to find all the evidence. I can only imagine how frustrating it had to have been for the honest cop who couldn't be heard because framing O.J. Simpson was a huge collar for them that most were able to retire on.
