John, Did Wagner say he had a lot of difficulty even finding the lawsuits of Shively or against Shively?
I believe that Clark just used the talking to tabs as a way to get rid of her. There were other people who testified who talked to the tabs. The Knife shop owner/mgr for one.
No, I think it was more than that.
Either Shively came up as a risk due to her background or her story was going to knock the 10:15 death out of the water.
And like some of the others, I question how she first thought it was Marcus Allen and then OJ. She says that "OJ" had on a short sleeved shirt which wouldn't match with what Clark was trying to portray either.
I don't recall which way the car clock was off but Shively had the getting to the grocery store with 8 minutes before closing nailed down. Perhaps the difference in the clock didn't match with that either.
And as familiar as OJ's face is to me, I don't know that I would have known Marcus Allen's face before this case if I fell over him. And I have a passing knowledge of pro football players--esp. back then.
And about buying the gun. That would take Shively's cooperation so maybe that is why it didn't happen.
